What Does It Mean To Be A Mum?

Mothers face insurmountable challenges from the time a child is in the womb till the day he or she becomes a full-fledged adult. In a world that can, at times, be uncertain, mothers brave life’s storms for two: for themselves and for the children they have brought into the world. This is not an easy task to accomplish: but you do it with grace and with grit.

While there are a ton of websites out there offering advice on how to be a “great mum” or self-help books that inform you on how best to communicate with your child, no one knows how to be a mum to your child better than you do. And what a wonderful job you’ve done.

As your child grows up, he or she may change. But each time you look at him or her, we can understand that you still see the same baby who called for you for that first time, or recall the first time you sent him or her off to school. These are memories that you rightly cherish, and as time passes by, you’ll see that you’ve created so many wonderful moments for your child too.

We go through 365 days in a year, and while we may pick one special day to honour all that you do, the other 364 we go through would count for a lot less if not for your love and dedication.
